1. What fixmysite.in does

fixmysite.in scans websites and generates health reports. We check phone numbers, links, SSL certificates, content quality, and other signals — and tell you what we found in plain language.

We are a diagnostic tool. We are not a web development agency. We do not fix your website for you (unless you engage our partner developers separately). We provide information. What you do with that information is your decision.

2. Who can use fixmysite.in

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be scanning a website you own or manage, or have permission to scan
  • Use the service for lawful purposes only

You must not:

  • Scan websites you do not own or manage without permission
  • Use our scan results to harm, defame, or damage any business
  • Attempt to overload, probe, or reverse-engineer our systems
  • Resell scan reports without written permission

3. What you're paying for

When you pay for a scan report, you are paying for:

  • A one-time website health report for the URL you submitted
  • A plain-language solution map
  • A downloadable PDF report
  • The ability to send the report to one developer via email

You are not paying for:

  • Guaranteed fixes to any issue we identify
  • Ongoing monitoring (unless you subscribe separately)
  • Legal, technical, or business advice
  • Any work by a developer (that is a separate arrangement between you and the developer)

4. Accuracy of reports

We make every effort to provide accurate scan results. However:

  • Our phone verification uses Twilio's Lookup API — we verify whether a number is active in telecom records, not whether a human will answer
  • Our link checker reflects the status of links at the time of the scan — links change
  • Our AI-generated findings are recommendations, not guarantees
  • Our health score is a relative indicator, not a certification

We do not guarantee that fixing every issue we identify will result in increased traffic, sales, or business outcomes. A healthy website is a necessary condition for online success — not a sufficient one.

5. Refund policy

We offer a refund if:

  • You paid but the scan failed to complete (status remained 'failed')
  • You were charged twice for the same scan

We do not offer refunds if:

  • You disagree with the findings
  • You already have a developer who told you something different
  • You scanned the wrong URL

To request a refund: email hello@fixmysite.in with your scan reference number within 7 days of payment.

6. Developer partners

fixmysite.in connects business owners with independent freelance developers. These developers are not employees or agents of fixmysite.in. Any work they do for you is governed by your direct agreement with them.

fixmysite.in is not responsible for:

  • The quality of work performed by partner developers
  • Disputes between you and a developer
  • Any outcomes resulting from work done by a developer

We vet our partner developers but cannot guarantee the quality of their work. We provide ratings and reviews to help you make informed decisions.

If you are a developer joining the partner network

By registering as a fixmysite.in partner, you agree to the following:

  • fixmysite.in is a lead introduction service. We match you with potential clients based on your city, skills, and rating. We are not a party to any project agreement you make with the client.
  • Project fee, scope, and payment terms are between you and the client. You negotiate the fee directly. The client pays you directly. fixmysite.in does not collect, hold, or process project payments on your behalf.
  • fixmysite.in's only fee is a ₹200 platform fee per accepted lead. This fee is charged when you reply YES to a lead introduction. If you decline the lead, no fee applies. The fee covers the introduction; it does not entitle fixmysite.in to a share of the project work.
  • You are responsible for the quality, timeliness, and completion of any work you accept. fixmysite.in does not guarantee, warranty, or indemnify your work to clients.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, GST, invoicing, and statutory compliance. fixmysite.in does not issue invoices or collect tax on your behalf.
  • fixmysite.in may remove you from the partner network at any time for: poor client ratings sustained over multiple jobs, verified complaints of fraud or non-delivery, false information on your registration, or use of the platform for purposes other than legitimate freelance work.

Disputes between you and a client are resolved directly between the two parties. fixmysite.in is not an arbiter or mediator and cannot enforce payment, scope, or refund decisions on either side.

7. Enterprise and institution scans

For enterprise and institution scans, we require email verification to confirm you manage the website. By submitting your work email and completing OTP verification, you confirm that you are authorised to request a scan of that website.

Providing false information to access an enterprise scan is a breach of these terms and may result in account termination without refund.

8. Intellectual property

The scan report we generate is yours to use for your business. You may share it with your developers and advisors.

You may not:

  • Resell scan reports
  • Publish scan reports publicly in a way that damages the reputation of the scanned website's owner
  • Use our report format, design, or methodology to build a competing product

The fixmysite.in name, logo, and brand are our property.

9. Privacy

We collect:

  • The URL you submit for scanning
  • Your email address (if provided for report delivery)
  • Payment information (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
  • Answers to optional intake questions

We do not:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Store the full HTML content of scanned websites
  • Share your scan results with anyone except the developer you choose to send them to

10. Limitation of liability

fixmysite.in is provided as-is. We are not liable for:

  • Any business decisions made based on our scan reports
  • Any losses resulting from issues we did not detect
  • Any losses resulting from following our recommendations
  • Any downtime or service interruption

Our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid for the scan that gave rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will note the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use fixmysite.in after changes means you accept the updated terms.
